Farm To Future celebrates the communities of local growers, farmers, millers, bakers, and food enthusiasts, all contributing to a healthier ecosystem through sustainable practices and mindful choices. Farm To Future aims to raise awareness and educate communities about sustainable agriculture and healthier food choices.

Through a series of thoughtfully curated dinners, Farm To Future brings together local (people to share local food and local stories.) growers, farmers, millers, bakers, and food enthusiasts. These dinners serve not only as a platform for enjoying delicious meals made from fresh, mindfully, locally sourced produce, but also as a means to highlight and support the individuals who are actively transforming our food system.

Each dinner in the series showcases the fresh produce and ingredients provided by those who are pioneering sustainable practices. By doing so, Farm To Future educates attendees on the benefits of choosing seasonal and organic foods, emphasizing how these choices contribute to a healthier ecosystem.

The event fosters connections within the community, creating a network of like-minded individuals who are passionate about agriculture, sustainability, and mindful eatingd. Through these shared dining experiences, Farm To Future aims to inspire participants to make informed, health-conscious choices that are also joyful and support local farmers and sustainable food systems.

Each one of our choices has an impact on the planet and on the future generations.

Our first edition was in celebration of the incredible Sitopia Farm , with Head Grower Sarah Alun-Jones who we had in conversation with India. We spoke of the incredible work they are doing in the field of regenerative farming (literally), and how they continue to inspire us with their methods of farming and the community they are building. We learned of Sarah’s journey to organic growing, from film producer to managing a farm in south-east London. The video recording can be viewed via our instagram.

SITOPIA FARM:

"We are a modern, urban farm in Greenwich, London. We grow vegetables and flowers using organic, regenerative, and no-dig principles and sell direct to our local community, to chefs, and to florists. Through our farming and events, courses and community volunteering, we reconnect people to the soil, the joy of good food and flowers, and to each other."

We wanted to share the magic of the evening by recording some of our recipes for the delicious menu we created. All the seasonal produce was a celebration of local farms, and we even had a hand in picking the freshest nasturtiums from the beautiful Sitopia Farm. Go and visit when you have a chance, it truly is a beautiful place !
